In the three years since its opening, Achronism Studios has produced countless high quality photographs, a range of web sites, addictive online games, evocative music and the popular Colorblind Assistant tool, which helps people with color-deficiency in their day-to-day lives. Developing & creating the experience Ryan has programmed for nineteen years and in a wide range of languages. Releasing his first commercial PC game at the age of fifteen, he went on to create the popular independent game: Mind Twister in 2009, for which he also composed the soundtrack and designed the artwork. Online free-to-play titles followed with Noughts & Crosses Extreme in 2010 and Orb Unlimited in 2011.
Designing & capturing the moment Ryan's skills also extend to graphic design and art-photography. Employing photo-manipulation techniques and a strong sense of composition, Ryan creates striking photography and inspired digital art. The combination of visual intuition and fundamental programming knowledge allows him to create of beautiful, robust websites, such as the one you're viewing now. Writing & producing the music Ryan also writes instrumental music for a forthcoming album: Mythica, with many tracks already released. He performs and produces all the songs, playing piano and adding synthesised instruments for accompaniment. Colorblind Assistant is free software that instantly picks the color from the mouse pointer, providing you with a written name of the color, as well as other useful data such as RGB values and bar graphs, brightness and saturation. The software also has a zoom pane for fine pixel detection, and sits nicely in your desktop tray when not in use. Colorblind Assistant runs in a small 192x128 window that you can easily use alongside graphics programs, applications, games, video-editing software and movie players. The pixel data updates in real-time, so use with animations and movies is just as easy as still images. The software is spyware/advertising free and uses minimal memory and resources.
Colorblind Assistant is compatible with all Windows Operating Systems, but is recommend for use with Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Orb Unlimited is a high-intensity action-puzzle game, with a huge variety of levels and gameplay that will literally blow you away. This addictive game has you navigating twenty-six levels that each present a unique challenge: you'll be pelted by comets, frozen in ice, probed by UFOs, covered in lava and be blown to absolute bits! Test your skill in Unlimited mode, where you'll be scrambling to complete as many levels as possible before time runs out... or play through Challenge mode, where you'll be exercising your brain while exciting your senses. Noughts and Crosses Extreme is a tic-tac-toe game with an extreme twist. You play off against your opponent to score the most three-in-a-row as the board expands, rotates and even explodes! This is no ordinary Noughts and Crosses. Mind Twister is a puzzle game that requires you to clear all blocks in a certain number of moves. Identical blocks clear together, so aligning them is the aim of the game. To make things easier you can rotate the board in any direction, but the pieces fall vertically. chronism; a word which means 'the absence of time' has many interpretations. When time is thought of as a source of confinement, 'timelessness' can evoke feelings of peace and tranquillity. 'Timelessness' can also conjure images of a dream state, whereby the passing of time is not always noticeable and perhaps not even relevant. If I described something as 'timeless' I may be trying to convey the notion of longevity, suggesting that it transcends the era in which it was created.
